Mary Hamlin-Spencer

Mary Hamlin-Spencer is a member of the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT) and is an AmSAT-certified Alexander Technique teacher. She is a graduate of the ATMidAtlantic Training Course in Baltimore, Maryland, a three-year, 1600-hour training course for teachers of the Alexander Technique.  She first began studying the Technique over thirty years ago in New York and then continued her AT studies in Baltimore. In addition to teaching the Alexander Technique, she is a classically trained musician with both B.A. and M.Mus degrees in organ performance. She has taught organ for over 25 years at Goucher College in Towson, MD, and serves as Music Director at Epiphany Episcopal Church in Timonium, MD. She enjoys teaching the Alexander Technique to students of all ages and interests at her studio in Cockeysville, MD, near Falls Rd.
